If a box, urn, or container of cremated ashes has been sitting in your home longer than you expected, you are not alone, and you are not behind.
I wrote this guide because I spent the last couple years learning far more about this decision than I ever expected to. It covers every meaningful option I’m aware of, including what I think you should know about each one: keeping ashes at home, traditional burial, scattering, memorial diamonds and glass art, living memorials like reefs and trees, and space memorials.
On that last one, I’ll say upfront that I have a personal stake, since I run a space memorial company. I’ve tried to give you the full picture anyway.
